The World of Ada Ev

The Regions

The world of Ada Ev consists of four regions inhabited by mortals and one region in the north belonging to the Beloran.

Lomalan

The northern-most region of Ada Ev is home to the Beloran. No mortals live there, though at times select people are allowed into the courtyard of the Gates of Mulda Por, the entrance into Lomalan. Mulda Por is the capital city of Lomalan and home to Yükesh Bala, High Queen of the Beloran. The land is mountainous and continuously covered with snow and ice at the higher elevations. Vast, lush fields cover the valley between the mountain pass leading into Lomalan and the Gates of Mulda Por.

Batin

The western, coastal region of Ada Ev is inhabited by mortals under the administration of their Beloran Overseer, Lord Sylvanon. The region is a relatively narrow strip of land extending many miles north and south. As a coastal region, it is known for its fishing industry as well as one of the most popular Seer schools in the land.

Dajhun

The northeastern region of Ada Ev is known more for its rich interior than its rugged coastline. The region is overseen by Lady Alsamir of the Beloran. Dajhun is covered with vast forests and meadows. It is a favorite destination for those wanting to see some of the most beautiful expanses of the continent.

Maikesh

Ada Ev’s central region is overseen by Lord Nevsahir of the Beloran. It is the “bread basket” of the continent with miles of farms and hundreds of bustling villages. Its many farms produce every kind of grain used all across Ada Ev.

Junil

The southern region of Ada Ev is overseen by Lady Aymala of the Beloran. The region’s climate lets it produce the richest vineyards in all of Ada Ev. The wines and many other fruits of the vine are of exceptional quality and the preferred beverages served in Mulda Por itself.

Seers

Each Seer is unique in his or her particular strength, but they are all mystics gifted with powerful physical sight as well as discernment beyond the physical realm. The strongest among Seers usually become Primin, leaders of a community of Seers who have completed training. Most Seers partner with Wanderers, although the Wanderers resist any such companionship.

The Wise

The Wise are those with supernatural knowledge and understanding of people and situations. The are closest to Seers in their strengths, but their focus lies in learning everything they can from those around them, then discerning outcomes of decisions. As with all gifted mortals, the Wise have particular strengths and interests.

Healers

Healers are able to cure illnesses and injuries, often immediately, and often causing pain in those they treat. Many people do not seek the help of a Healer because of their reputation for being indifferent and aloof. In very rare cases, a Healer may possess empathy and seek to help those in need using the most comforting means possible.

Folasi

Folasi have skills beyond that of any one class of gifts. They often exhibit a dominant gift early in their life and then develop additional skills encompassing other gifts. Folasi usually begin training and mentorship among the Seers or the Wise. The range of interests and abilities of the Folasi is very broad, making each one very different from any other.

Wanderers

Wanderers are driven to travel the lands of Ada Ev in pursuit of their aramad, their ultimate sense of purpose and mission. They are closely connected to the Beloran but often unaware of that link. They can go mad if they are unable to determine their primary purpose. Wanderers can experience any number of callings to travel and usually cannot stay in any one place longer than two years. Most often they will travel to other destinations within a few months. They are fiercely independent and do not welcome the company of others on their travels.
